Easter 2012

We had an awesome Easter 2012!

Layton's Easter Party at Miz Carol's
It rained the morning of Layton's party, so we had to hunt eggs in the basement of our church.  He still had tons of fun, though.

The fourth grade had the treat of going to a farm for their party.  They had a blast.  Kade is in the yellow.

The Big 1-0!

Kade turned 10 years old on March 20.  His birthday was on a Tuesday, so that morning we sang to him and he got to open his presents from Clint and me.  He wanted a camera that could record videos, so I found a cheapo for him to have fun with.  The weekend following his birthday we had a small family get together.  His big present came Easter weekend when we went to Great Wolf Lodge and he took a friend.

Little Dribblers Basketball - The Suns

Kade played Little Dribblers Basketball again this year.  He did an outstanding job!  Clint, myself, the grandparents, even people in the stands, could not believe how much he had improved from last year.  I didn't get a lot of pictures, because I either kept the books, clock or coached, so here are four that a friend posted on FB for me.

Spring Break 2012

For the most part we stayed home during spring break.  We had intentions of going to Legoland one day, but the attraction was sold out, so we just got to visit the store.  While we were at the mall, where Legoland is, Kade jumped on a bungee/trampoline that he had begged to do for a few years.  It was hilarious--he said that was the first and last time he would ever do that again!  We did get to stay in a hotel with a swimming pool, though, so that was worth it (at least to Layton, as you can see).  We will try the Lego attraction again this summer.

Kade said the water was way too cold!  He went back to the room to chill with Clint.  It was just right for Layton!  That's a tattoo on his belly--if you know Layton, you know he loves those things (I am getting a little worried about him turning 18).

We ate at this New York style pizza parlor.  It was delicious!

We went to Graham one day during the break.  I took the boys to play at Fireman's Park while Clint ran errands.
