Layton's 7th Birthday

Layton turned 7 on August 15th.  He wanted a Lego birthday cake.  So, I had a local lady make me a Lego block cake then we used Layton's mini-figurines to hold the candles.  He loved it!

We just had an easy family get together, but Layton had a blast!

Both boys wanted an X-Box 360, so Kade had an early birthday.

It seems just like yesterday that Layton was born.  He is growing up so fast and has the cutest, funniest personality.  He is a joy!

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico - Day 4

Swimming with dolphins has always been on my "bucket list."  Well, I got to cross it off on Day 4.  This was an amazing experience!  Even Clint, who I figured wouldn't even do it, loved it.  The boys thought it was the neatest thing ever, too.

Clint is probably going to kill me for putting this picture on here, but the dolphin fin does kind of freak you eat. All you can think of is Jaws!

Here are two dolphins pushing on the bottom of our feet so that we sail through the water.  So cool!

Our plan was to get our Christmas card pictures in Mexico, but we were so tired from swimming with the dolphins that we got a late start and of course no one can smile at the same time.  There are some cutes ones, though.

We had a blast in Mexico and made so many memories that we will treasure a lifetime!
