Fire Prevention Winner

Fire prevention posters are drawn the month of October each year.  Teachers have the students draw the posters at school, then they submit them to the Volunteer Fire Department.  Kade ended up winning 3rd place out of the fourth graders.  A picture of his poster is below.   He called up Mama Chris and she gave him the idea of Smokey Bear crying in a forest, because of a fire.  He is quite the artist, so he went to town with that idea.  He put a quote by Smokey Bear at the top of the poster, "Only you can prevent forest fires."
