Yard of the Month

Clint and I, along with my sister, Sommer, own a lot in town.  We have a large lot that was COMPLETELY dirt and weeds when we started in June.  We now have grass growing on the lawn part and a beautiful flower bed in a corner area of the lot that runs along the main highway.  We were awarded for our efforts by the Seymour Garden Club.  We received Yard of the Month for October.

  1. I've been meaning to tell you how GREAT the lot looks! Of course when I think of it is always as I am driving through town or getting ice. I wish my flowerbeds looked like yours. I know it is also a lot of work, but it looks beautiful. You should be proud of your recognition.

  2. I LOVE all the flowers. I really enjoy it on those 5:30 a.m. runs. I have enjoyed watching the plants grow all summer. Isn't the Candle Tree amazing~who would think it could look like that 3 months later. And the rudbekia and coreopsis are some of my favorites!! Congrats on the award!!
