This past weekend I went shopping in DFW with my mom and sister. We started off Friday in Dallas. We went to the Dallas Market Center Sample Sale, which is a once a year sale open to the public. We loved it and found a lot of great Christmas gifts. I heard several people say that it was not as good as last year's, but we didn't know any different. We then spent the night in Grapevine and shopped Southlake Town Square on Saturday. I got a lot of shopping done and now look forward to putting my tree up and wrapping all of my packages! Thanks Mom & Skye for a great time (Sommer had to work, so we missed seeing her).
Here is the best part, Clint was so sweet and agreed to keep both of the boys for me, overnight. Kade ended up spending Friday night with a friend (first time ever), so Clint only had Layton to entertain. They ordered pizza and watched "Monsters vs. Aliens." Kade did great at his first sleepover, too! Saturday, Clint ended up taking Kade, Layton and a friend of Kade's bowling and they even ate at Texas Roadhouse! He definitely gets the Daddy of the Decade award for helping me out this weekend. I appreciate him very much.
Sadly, no pictures were taken during the weekend. I was shopping too hard, I guess. Clint actually took a camera to take pics (he knows how important this blog is to me), but said he forgot it in the car. I'm just proud of him for thinking to take it!

How fun! Good job, Dad! We're going on a girls shopping trip to Canton in December, so Jason will be doing the same thing! Whoo hoo!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of Clint! Funny thing is I had just informed Cody that he and Lyndon will be bachelors in two weeks while Momma and I go to Dallas. Glad you found a lot of goodies.
